We had an amazing day yesterday!! We went on a Columbus Day voyage and went to different classrooms trading goods and visiting different lands. Ask your student about the voyage they went on.

Question of the week:What wild animals live in our neighborhood?

Language Arts Connection: Nouns in sentences; Verbs in sentences and adjectives or describing words. Interrogative sentences. 

Writing: Demonstrate capitalization, punctuation and spelling when writing. Using adjectives to describe our nouns. Writing declarative sentences and interrogative sentences.

Reading: We will be reading the story titled "Get the Egg" and discuss characters and setting, and major events in a story using key details. 

Math: Addition- doubles in adding, using a number line to add and word problems (what are the important parts of a word problem) 

Spelling/Phonic- short /e/, beginning blend sounds
